Conference Chairs' Welcome to ET-18

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are delighted to welcome you to the Eighteenth International Conference on Endothelin (ET-18) to be held on October 11-14, 2023 in Rome with the support of Fondazione Menarini.

Established in 1988, this global biomedical conference is now in its fourth decade. The Endothelin Conferences are held biannually in a rotating fashion in America, Europe, and Asia, presenting the latest updates in basic and clinical science on endothelins and endothelin receptor antagonists (ERAs). The Endothelin Conferences have been global venues for scientists and clinicians to meet and discuss recent developments in basic endothelin research, as well as clinical applications of endothelin receptor antagonists and the use of endothelin as a biomarker of disease.

The conference program will include presentations from leading authorities in the endothelin field, as well as presentations from new and young investigators in endothelin research. It will present some of the latest discoveries about the role of endothelin in pathophysiology of diseases, ranging from neurological disorders to non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. The conference will also provide updates on clinical trials of endothelin receptor targeting-drugs, such as endothelin receptor antagonists (ERAs). Presentations will consist of oral and poster communications and State-of-the-Art lectures by international leaders in the field. As in previous years, students, trainees, and young scientists submitting abstracts are encouraged to apply for an "ET-12 Young Investigator Award".

As Chairs of the conference we cordially invite you to share your science with your colleagues at ET-18.

We look forward to seeing you in Rome in October 2023
